- March 19, 2009 The Cricket Island Foundation collaborates with the Crossroads Fund, the Woods Fund and the Brinson Family Foundation to present an educational convening for our grantees in Chicago. Bill Barclay, Crossroads Fund Finance Committee member, led an interactive presentation that helped our grantees better understand the policies and practices that contributed to our current economic crisis. Program Officers Consuella Brown and Julie Walther spoke about how their foundations are responding to the crisis and what nonprofits should expect in the coming years.
