| We have found that new ideas and fresh perspectives often come from younger organizations or projects that are still in an active phase of experimentation and refinement. These new ideas relate to creative new ways to engage young people who are not engaged through other youth programs, unique approaches to leveraging resources from a parent organization, or alternative revenue generating models. In the fall of 2006, the Foundation made five three-year grants to young organizations that we believe have the opportunity to influence the field of youth led social change.
